The St. Teresa’s Parish Bulletin for Sunday, 4th September 2022

Sunday 4 September 2022,

Twenty Third Sunday of Ordinary Time

(Year C)

Synod 2023: Communion, Participation, Mission.

Sunday Gospel The followers of Jesus are called to reject everything that is contrary to Christ. We are asked each day to give up anything that hinders the love of Christ entering into our hearts. It is a love that cast light on who we are in the presence of God, as Father. Many times in life we get lost in a world that hates the Christian because we stand against what it wants to promote: greed, selfishness and fear. The disciple loves generosity and freedom. We pray today that we will reject anything that possesses us and live in the freedom of the children of God.
