Sunday Gospel Be ready! The follower of Jesus must be ready to do what the Lord asks. His call is simple we are to be ready in prayer and promoting the values of the Kingdom: truth, justice and peace. Many times we can think it’s better to leave the work of the Gospel for another day. We will get round to doing what Jesus asks when there is more time and when I am not so busy. Yet it is clear that the work of the gospel has no time to wait, it is immediate and there can’t be any delay. In every time and place there is always opportunities to do as Jesus asks, to be his true servants by the action of our lives.
